im emerson (they/them)

OR LMT#27635 & manual lymphatic drainage therapist

im a white, queer, transmasc, solo-poly, neuro-spicy mobile massage therapist serving the greater portland, oregon area.

my passion for bodycare blossomed after receiving gender-affirming top surgery in 2020. during my post surgical healing, i struggled to integrate into my new body. for me, it was a challenge to touch my chest & come to terms with my reality - the new dysphoria i experienced was unexpected & painful. after researching & reflecting with my community, i began giving my scars & chest gentle daily massages. this therapeutic ritual opened the energetic healing doors & sourced the connection i needed with my sacred trans essence & body.

feeling the profound importance of safe, supportive & connective care; i became passionate about gender-affirming massage therapy & bodycare. i live with a deep desire to support trans, queer & gender expansive humans while they discover, process & integrate their needs, expansive identities & desires. by receiving the unique & necessary bodycare we all need, i believe we can strengthen our collective resilience & transform mutual healing.

my formal massage therapy training began in 2021 at the east west college of the healing arts in portland. during my education, i learned essential skills, modalities & techniques that help me facilitate consent-based, trauma-informed & communication-forward bodycare. during my sessions, i prioritize my client’s needs, comfort & care to create a safe & respectful space to heal.

i acknowledge & honor the stolen land on which i live as stewarded by the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde, Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians & Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs original people, past, present, & future.
